The Whippet, being one of the fastest breeds of their weight, is either running small animals up trees and into their burrows, or sleeping on the couch. A Kuranda bed with a soft, machine washable fleece pad will be loved by any whippet. The raised feature allows for the Whippet stay off the hard ground, allowing them to keep warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Our whippet and greyhound love them. When they were puppies they did have a couple accidents on them but they cleaned up perfectly by just hosing them off. They would hate the crate if we did not have them.

I like them

I got two of the beds for the indoor-outdoor runs that my young whippets stay in when nobody is home. They have a Pipe Dreams bed, too, but had started gnawing into the fabric, so that bed has been delegated to the older, non-chewy dog. The Kuranda beds look like they'd give the pups a hard time getting started chewing anywhere on the cloth. My boy liked the bed before I was even done assembling it. My girl took most of a week and insisted on a crate pad and a blanket on it, but now she likes hers, too.
